> What is InfiniHacks?

InfiniHacks is a 36-hour virtual hackathon hosted by and for high school students. During the weekend of November 12 – 14, participants, also known as “hackers”, from all across the globe will create projects that will influence the future. We offer 4 different and unique tracks to accommodate everyone from beginners and first-timers to experienced hackers.

Build something that automates a common task using bleeding-edge technology.

Requirements

Al projects must be submitted before 12:00pm EST. We primarily target high school students who are new to the world of STEM, but anyone above the age of 13 is eligable. No coding experience required!

  • All projects must be finished by 12:00 PM EST
  • It is highly recommended you include a demo video in your submission (maximum 2 minutes).
  • If you collaborated on Github, please link your code repository in your submission.
  • Tell us your story of building your hack by filling out the details in your Devpost page
  • Every project will be evaluated using the following 4 criteria: Technology, Design, Project Goal, and Completion.

  • Technology
    How technically impressive was the hack? What technologies were incorporated into the project? Was the technical problem the team tackled difficult? Did it use a particularly clever technique or did it use many different components?
  • Design
    Did the team put thought into the user experience? How well designed is the interface? Is the project easy to use and understand?
  • Project Goal
    Did the project try to solve a greater goal? How well did the project fit into its selected track? How can the project be used in a real life situation? How feasible is the project in the real world? How creative or innovative was the solution?
  • Completion and Learning
    Does the hack work? Was there a live demo? Did the team achieve everything they wanted? Did the team stretch themselves? Did they try to learn something new? What kind of projects have they worked on before?
